How We Work - Rick Haver Woodworking

A building project of any size can be a wonderful experience. It can help to solve problems with your current house by adding an addition or by doing a renovation or building your dream house. The process, in addition to being rewarding, can also be fun and exciting. We have designed a process that has worked successfully for our customers.

We place a substantial amount of importance on the front end of the project. The first meeting is the most important. It will determine if the two parties are compatible and create the foundation upon which a successful project can be built.

This is how we do it:

Step 1.	The first interview.. 1 Hour The customer takes 30 minutes to review the scope of the project including completion dates and budget parameters. Rick Haver Woodworking will take 30 minutes to review your project expectations. We will outline our capabilities, project guidelines, and fee schedules.
Step 2.	Both parties decide whether it makes sense to proceed with the project. This step usually takes between one to 10 days to decide.
Step 3.	Yes or No If yes, we require a retainer to secure schedule and commitment. Set an appointment to review expectations in depth. Develop the project schedule. Develop project budget guidelines.
Step 4.	Get to work.

The first one hour interview is free.
A retainer is required to proceed after the first interview.
Fee schedules will be presented in the first meeting.
